About this business
Pies ’n Thighs opened in 2006, in the shadow of the Williamsburg Bridge. We took over a beer storage closet in the and transformed it into a tiny kitchen with six stools, serving huge donuts, two-napkin smoked pork sandwiches and salty, crispy fried chicken. The New York Times called the pies and the thighs a compelling combination, well executed and put forth with real heart—the sort of restaurant that’s hard to find, especially in the big city, but easy to love once found.

I've been wanting to come to Pies n Thighs for years and just never got the chance to.Finally on my birthday weekend I was able to go and was so excited at the thought! Lol! It was a beautiful day out and they had two tables set up outside, which I was willing to sit at, but luckily, when we asked how long was the wait was it wasn't long at all because a party just had gotten up so my friends and I got very lucky! Freaking delicious! I've been in NYC for vacation and the food has been okay, but Pies n Thighs changed things. The cozy and friendly ambiance was perfect for the cold weather. I really liked the staff's friendliness and they knew spanish wich was good! I ordered coffee with almond milk and it was probably the best coffee I've had in my stay at Brooklyn no kidding. For brunch I got the Hippie Banjo with bacon and gosh I devoured the whole thing! The bacon was crispy, the bread gorgeously toasted and buttery. The egg was jus... read more

This review is solely for pie! We ordered slices of apple pie, key lime pie, and maple bourbon pecan. The service was swift and the price point was steep with kind staff and desserts abounds. We picked up and entered the small cozy restaurant with bustling hungry customers and fast footed servers tallying up orders. It's simple really. We didn't want to take a weekend table just for dessert so we ordered take out. The keylime was sublime (LOL that rhymes!) with a buckling tartness perfectly balanced with enough sweet.
