Pies ’n Thighs opened in 2006, in the shadow of the Williamsburg Bridge. We took over a beer storage closet in the and transformed it into a tiny kitchen with six stools, serving huge donuts, two-napkin smoked pork sandwiches and salty, crispy fried chicken. The New York Times called the pies and the thighs a compelling combination, well executed and put forth with real heart—the sort of restaurant that’s hard to find, especially in the big city, but easy to love once found.

We remember the amazing beginnings and have been loyal for decades. We love you and the cinnamon bun is worth it.
I ordered from this restaurant on a whim, purely based on reviews. I'm from CA, was visiting NY, and had gotten in on a late flight. By the time I checked into my hotel, I was starving and room service wasn't going to cut it. I kept my order basic, not sure if I could trust the reviews, but it was the best chicken of my life. No joke. I got the chicken and waffle, homemade lemonade, and pie. I recommend it all. Don't hesitate. Just eat. Amazing amazing amazing.

If you're craving southern food in Williamsburg, you won't do better than the food at Pies n Thighs. I've had their fried chicken, biscuits, honey butter, chicken biscuit sandwich, cinnamon roll, and toffee donut, and all are great choices! Don't be afraid of the hot sauce. It is very mild and is a delicious combination with the honey butter on the chicken biscuit. Service and experience eating in was lackluster. The restaurant is very small and they pack the tables in. I only saw one waiter servicing tables so she was und... read more

Service was excellent, food was even better. Got the Biscuits and Gravy and added a Chicken Cutlet.

Last week, I visited Pies-n-Thighs on Halloween. I got the Chicken Biscuit which is "slathered in hot sauce and honey butter." The staff is very friendly and helpful in this cozy & chill spot. I needed a little help picking out dessert, but I ultimately settled on the Bourbon Pecan Pie. One more thing, the seasonal pumpkin beer (on draft) pairs perfectly with either food item.
