5.0 out of 5 stars works perfect for inground pools. I have had this Polaris pool cleaner for 12 years and only had to replace wheel bearings a couple of times and the zipper bags a few times. So it's worth the price. my pool is a 23 x 42 and the suction works very well for a pool this big. highly recommend this cleaner.

It seems to not tangle as much as the smaller hose. The filter bag removal is easy and the included bag is a fine mesh that captures small particles.

It's not a terrible thing, and traditionally allowed someone with an older pool to add sweep capability without tearing everything apart for a high pressure pump. So the thought was good, and at the time was probably the best option available. The units work ok, but take a huge amount of parts, tweaking, fiddling, etc to keep it running.
