Not for Vinyl lined pools The 380 just doesn't not seem to work well in my pool, a 24' x 44' x 9'. The main problem is that it spends an inordinate amount of time in the corners, at the junction of the wall to the floor. After MANY adjustments, it never seems to get any better. It also never get up on the steps. The cleaner may work well in a concrete pool that is rounded off, but is not good for a vinyl lined pool with flat bottoms and vertical walls. I don't know what is a better solution, but for the cost of this one, I a... read more

Great Customer Service We bought this unit to replace a 10 year old unit. It ran well until a few weeks ago, then the power train would not run. My husband contacted Polaris since the unit is still under warranty. Polaris gave my husband contact information of a local pool service company. The pool service technician dropped by and confirmed the problem, but could not diagnose the issue - he has not seen this issue before. When we did not hear from the pool service technician again, my husband did some research on line and t... read more
Something is Very Fishy! On this particular day, 4/5/16, there are exactly the same number of reviews for three different products. The Polaris 280, 360, 380 pool sweeps all have 1266 reviews. That seems very unlikely!

I left it on about 4 hours the other day, came home and the pool had lost about 18" of water (5000 gal). Seems some small pebbles had gotten past the filter over the years and plugged the restrictor plate. Pump kept boosting pressure until the pvc line underground broke. That blew away the backfill and caused bowing of the wall and bulging of the floor (fiberglass). Fixable, for about $5000. Get a robotic instea... read more
Does not live up to our old one. The ... Does not live up to our old one. The tube is always tangled, the old one never did that. We had it for almost 3 weeks before we put it in the water because we were out of town. If we had really used it right away I would have returned it.
The bag was missing. The bag was sent and ... The bag was missing. The bag was sent and when we put it in the pool it did not work. Seem it was a refurbished unit but was sold as slight cosmetic damage to the box. Was close to new price, so very misleading!
It's a good 'un - Pricey though. yep, I guess all who know the Polaris are aware it's a great cleaner but pricey. This was the best price I could find (Amazon). Replaced a 15 year old same model that was plumb wore out and held together with plumbers pipe cement and bits of wire.
