The Polaris EPIC 8640 robotic cleaner has great coverage and great vacuuming ability. I only wish it wasn't limited by the 2-hour cleaning cycle.
Business response:
Thank you for sharing your experience Clark. From your Polaris Team
I love my new Polaris Epic 8640. It does a wonderful job cleaning my fiberglass pool and the rolling cart to hold the robot, controller, and cord makes it so easy to store and move. The lift feature is amazing! The robot comes to the wall and up to the water line for easy lifting, and discharges most of the water back into the pool as soon as you get it out of the water. So much easier on my aging back than my old poolbot!
Business response:
We are grateful for your detailed review, Lois! Glad the Epic 8640 is easier on your back! From your Polaris Team
The Polaris EPIC 8640 robotic cleaner replaced my Dolphin that had lasted 8 summers. I was hesitant to switch from what I already knew, but the guy at the pool store swayed me. My only complaint is that the included stand/cart is terrible. It falls over so easily that my power box is all scratched up. I have given up on the cart and will now just carry the cleaner to the pool when I need it. The robot itself does an excellent job of cleaning both the floor and the walls. The Easy Lift removal is really convenient too. I love... read more

So far so good - my last 4 pool sweepers were dolphins and I always had trouble with them getting stuck on the water return at the bottom of the pool - i finally changed to Polaris. It doesn't get stuck at the bottom of the pool and it does a better job cleaning the pool walls - plus cleaning the trap is much better - I'm happy that I bought it
Business response:
Thank you for your review, Pete. Glad Polaris doesn't get stuck and delivers better wall cleaning. Welcome to the Polaris family!
This is a life saver, since have been vacuuming by hand for over 25-30 years. It saves so much time & now our pool is vacuumed frequently, since it is so simple to do & we can focus on doing other things while it is cleaning. Our pool always looks beautiful now. Will continue to hand vacuum to waste when opening the pool, since we now also have a mess anchor cover which creates more sediment in the pool, but might just use the Polaris at closing.
Business response:
We are delighted to hear your pool always looks beautiful now and you can save time and relax a little more to enjoy your pool now. From your Polaris Team
