Polaris EPIC 8640 robotic cleaner
Cleans very well and silently. Only drawback is I cannot leave the controller exposed to the rain, so a bit of a pain to move it to a protected area whenever I use it. Much better than the pump requiring version!

The Polaris 8640 is better than we had expected. It's better then the maytronics Dolphin active 30. The Polaris picks up more debris then the Dolphin. The only down fall to get a better filter you have to purchase the fine mesh basket. The Dolphin came with the spring cleaning and the fine mesh baskets. It would out sell the Dolphin if it had the two baskets in a package deal. Other then that its a very good pool cleaner for our 17' x 33' x 8' pool

COMPARED TO THE 6 YEAR OLD CLEANER I REPLACED, THE 8640 IS BETTER IN EVERY WAY. - DEBRIS CATCHER IS EASY TO OPEN, DUMP, AHD CLEAN - EASIER TO LIFT OUT OF POOL. - MOVES FASTER - MAYBE 20 PERCENT - CLEANS BETTER - MAYBE 40 PERCENT INCLUDING WALLS - EXHAUST WATER PROVIDES DOWN FORCE - WOW !! - CORD DOESN'T GET KNOTTED - UP - 100 PERCENT SATISFIED !!

I love the Polaris Epic cleaner. The only issue I have experienced is the basket needs to be tightly secured before putting the cleaner in the pool or the basket will float away. This could just be the operator!

So far so good,,,, Love the Polaris products ,,, but really need to see how it holds up after a couple of seasons. It’s only been a month or so of use.
