Polaris EPIC 8640 robotic cleaner
I've been using my Polaris Epic 8640 for 5 days now and it's truly amazing. It's easy to put in and take out. The basket is easy to empty and clean our. My only concern is that it doesn't climb the walk in stairs, which I've read it does. I'm not sure if it takes a few cleans to completely map out the pool, but overall it's a great machine.

Robotic cleaners have difficulty with steps and benches, as they can’t tell if it’s the top of the pool. We recommend regular brushing of the steps, and once the debris is dislodged, the cleaner can take care of it at the bottom or sides of the pool. I have been using my Polaris epic 8640 for a few months now. Likes : the vacuum brings itself up the side for easy removal after cleaning . Dislikes: basket design doesn’t hold debris as well as the dolphin cartridges did . Over all

So far it is working very well. Cleans up the debris in the pool. It is user-friendly for me. Love that it will stop at the waterline and I can get it out of the pool very easily.

Purchased on 7/8/24. The owner Dave from Goulart Pools in N. Weymouth provided great guidance for my choice of a pool cleaner robot and answered all of my questions to confirm my choice. Utilizing an independent retailer vs large corporate retail companies or the internet gives you the support you need on an expensive purchase both before and after the sale. Better than having to do it myself but does not clean as well as I hoped. Also, the controls should be better.
