We’ve only been using the vacuum for about a month, but our favorite things are it doesn’t have a bag and it doesn’t get stuck on the filters at the bottom of the deep end. Both of these things happened with our old robot vacuum. The Polaris is efficient and good at its job!

The Epic 8640 does a great job picking up dirt and small leafs etc. My pool does not have a screened cage and there are several oak trees nearby which shed lots of leaves. I had to use a Leaf Master and the old Polaris 280 to remove most of them. I can now use the Epic 8640 to finish the job. I am very pleased with it. The only thing difficult to do is when I pick it up is some of the trash comes out of the basket but that is probably because at 90 years old I don't have a lot of strength to lift it straight up and put... read more

The robot is easy to use however every time I run it, the cycle stops before cleaning the whole pool. I’ll check the basket and find it’s not completely full. Wish it cleaned a little better without having to do two full cycles.

Epic 8640 is easy to use and saves me time. It also helps my pool stay clean during these early spring months when a lot of tree debris is present. No regrets on the purchase.

Excellent machine. easy use and cleaning. Debris basket has a very fine mesh which picks up sand and smaller particulars of dirt. its like an alternative to vacuuming the pool but you don't have to do it. The machine does it. I like this product. Best I have owned so far.
