Polaris EPIC 8640 robotic cleaner
I like the ease of getting unit out of pool and the caddy. However, so far not real impressed with the cleaning in corners of pool and on steps.

I think it does a great job particularly enjoy the cleaning of the walls. I would make one recommendation. The bar that attaches to the base on the dolly, should be more secure. The plastic ring that holds it is not strong enough.

I have had two Dolphin cleaners. Both connected over Bluetooth to my iPhone and had more settings. They did not come with a cart but were only two thirds the cost. The system guided the cleaner to cover the entire pool. The Polaris leaves large areas untouched. This unit has been a disappointment so far but maybe it will last 3 times longer and get where it cleans the whole pool. If it does I will update my review. I wished it had a 90 day return so I get another brand.

The cleaner is a great one. The only problem with the Caddy is very cheaply made. It's to weak to move around and breaks. This is the only thing that you need to fix

Very easy set up. I was actually surprised to see how much debris my Polaris picked up off the bottom of the pool. I would highly recommend the Epic 8640 to anyone.

Only used the robot cleaner twice. Very random cleaning missed many areas. Too early to tell just yet. The ares it did get were well cleaned and the filter caught a lot of trash.

The Polaris Epic works extremely well. I previously owed a Polaris older model for several years but found the Epic has a much stronger vacuum and the track wheels climb my pool’s walls without problems. I love my new Epic model.
