Polaris G52 Back-up Valve Assembly. This is a factory original Polaris replacement back up valve. It has a timer mechanism inside that diverts water out of a jet every 5-10 minutes. This jet acts as a back up, pulling the cleaner out from the pool floor or wall. There is an arrow on one side of the hose barb that should face towards the cleaner. Just what i needed The case for my back up was cracked and spouting water everywhere but where it should have. So I purchased this and once i got the old one off and replaced it with this one, it worked perfectly. So it was exactly what I needed.
Just what I needed. Works as it should. It was easy to install, just pay attention to the instructions on which direction the arrow should face.
Fixed Polaris Exactly as described. New and works great fixing problem of my polaris getting stuck in corners and not going in reverse.

Good price / Great Valve Same as the Polaris one it replaced, although I haven't had to take it apart yet! These are very expensive at my local (national) pool store. Glad I found this one on Amazon.
