Stopped working (no drive or suction). Booster pump was checked and no issues found. Sweep was checked by pool company, no issues found. Pool techs came out and couldn't figure it out. Sold the unit and bought a robot.

The hose is why this is a 2 star, the hose is cheaper than our old hose, it gets tangled up in the cleaner so it does not do its job. Cleaner works great when it can get around, Bad hose design

The Polaris gets stuck continually at the bottom of 3steps and consistently does not get to significant portions of my pool.

To prevent the cleaner from getting stuck, check the following: 1) Verify proper flow by counting the wheel revolutions per minute (RPMs). 2) Ensure the Back-up Valve is cycling on and off about every three minutes. 3) Adjust the Thrust Jet to change the directional path of the cleaner. it runs on its side about 50%

Remove the head float and shake it. If there is water in the float, let us know and we can send you a new one. 3. Check the hose floats to make sure they are spaced evenly. 4. The cleaner gets all tangled up in itself and does not clean well. Gave up on it and purchased something different

The backup valve is not very strong. The unit will get stuck from time to time. Never received my $150.00 rebate even though I called and was told "it's on its way". Ya whatever.
