They Fixed the fireplace and did it below the cost of the estimate, it wasn't a functioning fireplace but now it is. They were clean up after themselves. Would recommend them again Serviced the fireplace and fixed the damage that was present
Very good They had a special for $200 to do chimney sweep and dryer vent. They did a very good job on both and were honest about what they found and what they saw. They saw a small crack in the chimney liner but said I should be fine with a small fire log and didn't need to do anything unless I was planning to have large fires.
He promptly made contact, came to my house on time, was careful to keep everything neat and clean. I signed up for the Big Deal and was pleasantly surprised that I did not get told I needed service as one always worries that if you ask someone to take a look, they are going to cook up something is the matter when there isn't anything. He offered me a couple of optional things I might want to consider, which for the moment I don not want, but if I change my mind, I will be calling them back. I was very pleased with the work.
Service provider was punctual and courteous. He provided a barrier so that soot would not get into our carpet/furniture. He examined the fireplace and chimney & did not attempt to sell us on more services which occurred when another company came out to clean the chimney. We were very satisfied with Potomac Services. I purchased an Angie's List coupon for assessment and cleaning of chimney.
He did a professional job and was very pleasant. He also made sure no chimney dust got on the carpet or outside of the machine. He did recommend a fairly expensive liner for my chimney, but that's his job. Chimney sweep with camera.
They did a great job, cleaned up their work and provided information that I asked for on duct cleaning Swept Chimney and dryer vent.
The service man arrived on time, got right to work, explained what he was doing, gave some advice, cleaned up, finished, and left. Efficient, quick, clean, pleasant and informative. What more could one ask for? Chimney sweep of two fireplaces, one of which has not been used in at least 15 years.
