I have been renting with rent progress for a little under a year now. We really like the home, it’s in a good neighborhood, and is a pretty new house. We only had one issue up to this point where the garbage disposal stopped working, and they sent service tech out within a day to come fix the problem. Deception and they will keep your holding fee. They (A representative named Steve)told me I was automatically declined by safe rent corelogic. I have rented over 10 years with no late payment or eviction and I have a clean background. I used the number they gave me to contact safe-rent to find out why I was declined. When I contacted them they told me they don’t make recommendations or provide decisions only the reports and that Progress would have made that decision and they did not recommend a declined application. I’d give them a zero if I could. No reason for my application to be denied, yes it was. No explanation at all. Very next day they sent me a text message trying to get me to view their homes. Makes no sense
Horrible place to live my kitchen has been flooded for 13days I have called and emailed no response. I hate paying so much money in rent for below poor service.

Bad experience. If ever denied they treat you like you don’t exist. Denial could’ve been for not uploading a specific document but instead of providing details they ignore you by email and phone. Now what if someone just showed up to the location? Would they turn off the lights and hide? Treat people better.

We have been renting through Progress Residential since July 2019. In our first year, we had zero problems. They were attentive enough and sent ser 8ce technicians when needed. Our first rental had some damage to the exterior wall. We reported it three times and nothing was done about it. We weren't charged upon moving out because we weren't responsible for the damage, but I still found it odd they didn't fix it for the next tenant. Dealing with Progress Residential has been the worse renting experience in my life. I moved in to my home on 9/30/20 and I live there with my two children ages 3 and 1. 1- when moving in I was told ONLY to transfer lights NOT water. I verified this on two occasions with Latoya based out of the Jacksonville office. Approximately 3 months into my residence my water is shut off.
