This is the worst company I have EVER dealt with. I can never get my calls returned. When I call my local office I'm sent to the Arizona office and told my local office will return my calls, which again never happens. They have charged us late fees that went against a previous agreement. Only when I threaten legal action can I get anywhere with them! As your Lease Agreement states, final utility charges are charged when you give notice of your intention to vacate, with an estimation of the charges through move-out based on prior usage. If your actual usage is lower than the predetermined amount, the you will be reimbursed accordingly. Please contact your local property management office so they can explain and assist you with payment.
What an absolute nightmare attempting to lease a house from this company has been !!!! came from New York to Florida in search of re locating my family. I just recently moved out of a rental owned by this company. I dealt with the Atlanta, Ga location and had a terrible experience. I had account issues from the start. My husband and I went a week or so without trash cans or pick up. We ha been paying the bill to Progress and they are supposed to pay the utility company. Apparently there was a mix up. We have been renting from the company for 2 years. Within the first few months our water was turned off by the city because they were not paying our water bill even though we had been sending them the money for our water bill. Progress Residential is managed very poorly. The office workers have no authority to make any decisions. The maintenance staff is poorly trained. Progress residential does not value its current or future tenants. Our experience with Progress Residential was poor at best. Progress residential unlawfully kept our security deposit even though we left the house and the property in flawless condition. THIS COMPANY PROVIDES FALSE INFORMATION ABOUT THEIR RENTAL REQUIREMENTS. YOU ARE REQUIRED TO PAY AN APPLICATION FEE IN ADDITION TO A $500 HOLDING FEE TO SECURE THE PROPERTY. IF YOU ARE NOT APPROVED THEY ARE REQUIRED TO REFUND YOUR HOLDING FEE BACK WITHIN 30 DAYS. I HAVE CALLED THIS COMPANY 6 TIMES WITHIN A 30 DAY TIME FRAME AND STILL HAVE NOT RECEIVED MY MONIES.
