Wow just wow. This place is a real piece of work. Charged an insurance fee for the past 7 months that I should have never had to pay in the first place. They tell me if I do not pay the fee with my rent than I will be charged a $150.00 late fee. Need people in my situation to help start a class action. They are committing a criminal offense. It's a shame the BBB is backing them with an A+ rating even with all of these negative reviews. The FTC needs to look into this as well. Contacting them today.

Although the house we rented was a beautiful house, the whole entire process from day one was not organized. The wrong price was set at the beginning of our contract, later on the company that serviced the pool was dropped and no one told us so we find a green pool at our return from extended vacations, not to mention how long it took us to get a hold of Progress Residential and for them to send someone to service the pool right over the holiday. NEGATIVE: This company and its representatives are dedicated to steal customers money charging extra fees once you vacate property to keep and literally stole deposit funds. They have people charging works and labors based in fraud to keep your money and discriminates Hispanics treating you as a delinquent thinking you have no right or tools to defend yourself, i will rate 1 star only to have this post release. ******* Miami, Fl.

DO NOT RENT FROM PROGRESS RESIDENTIAL. DO NOT PAY $500 down for a house that you have not seen yet. DO NOT get caught up in their utility scam “Conservice” because (i) you pay $10.00 a month in addition to your utilities for the “disservice”, (ii) if there is a plumbing or HVAC issue that causes your utilities to increase, they do not care, you will still be billed for THEIR issues that were there before you moved in and continue to be there for a long time because they take their time on work orders and (iii) the bill is du... read more

I have been dealing since 7/25/17 (almost 3 months) with holes in the roof and water damage all over my ceiling no one can seem to help me. My fence fell during the hurricane and their maintenance people threw the old fence in my front yard and driveway and the garbage people don’t want to take it and when we call Victoria to tell her no one answers the phone when you call and when Victoria finally does answer she screams that you are harassing he and that it is not her job. I do not recommend rent from Progress Residential "https://rentprogress.com/" I rent with them three years and on my move out and after their inspector confirmed that nothing is pending, they still charged me for items that are not supposed to be charged and they play an unfair game, i put my review on their ******** page and they reached out to me asking to send an email and no one cares to respond at all. I would give less than one star I would. This company seems to really care about tenants until it comes to a matter of screwing you out of money. I would never recommend to anyone to rent from this company. Their communication is terrible. Everywhere I’ve ever lease before only requires 30days notice to move out. This place requires 60 days and doesn’t even provide you with renewing options with enough time to consider. A little back story: I’m a disabled veteran who was diagnosed with cancer in 2014. Let me just start by saying that they don't follow through with deals they promise. I have been looking for a rental in the Houston area and located a house I liked, went to view it and received a call from a representative asking about what I was looking for in a rental. I told her I liked the area the previous house was located in and asked if there were any other comparable. She recommended the only other house available down the street and told me it was $1650. My experience with Progress Residential has been quite negative and I would encourage anyone looking to rent property to think twice about going with a property managed by them. I rented a house in FL with them. They conduct a process of a walk-through before you move in and then they have a walk-through after you move out. This is understandable and fine.
