I have rented for the past 15 years and Progress Residential is the WORST company I have ever dealt with! Our AC has been broken the past 6 days, it's reaching 90 degrees in this house. I have two daughters and a 14 year old dog. I am a good tenant, I pay my rent on time and they have no sympathy. We have contacted this company every day, multiple times a day and been on hold for way too long, only to tell us that they'll give us a call back and they never do! We have not had AC in our house for 2 days now. This company has horrible service and doesn't return any phone calls or emails I have sent. We have no idea what's going on and I'm living out of a hotel right now with my wife and 4 year old and a 6 month old. Progress Residential is a giant conglomerate that owns homes all across the USA. They have 'centralized' all their operations such that you cannot get anything done without calling their headquarters in Arizona. They have engineered it so that you never have access to speak to anyone with any real decision-making authority. You are always dealing with at least one, sometimes multiple middlemen. They force you to utilize the 'services' of Conservice to aggregate all your utilities into one bill (and charge you an additional $... read more

This is the worst company I have ever dealt with. They are so unprofessional, nasty, rude and disrespectful. If you don't have to use them, stay far away. They never get back to you, but can find you if you are one day late with payment, they transfer you all over the place then all you get is a voicemail. Doesn't help to ask for supervisors or managers. No one cares what you have to say, they just read from a script. I would run from this company as fast as I could.

I've had an ongoing a/c repair issue for two summers in a row. Beginning in May of last year the AC stopped blowing cold air when the temperatures got hot outside. The previous summer that we were in the home (2015) the a/c worked fine and we never had a problem with the system cooling properly. Hi, I have been a renter of the same property in Grayson, GA since August 2014. My rent has increased 13% since I rented the property. I'm a single mom, and asked if they could consider being more reasonable with me with this recent 9% increase...and they just don't care. This first part is from memory from a year/two ago, so it's accurate to the best of my ability. From start to finish, communication has been TERRIBLE. Six months in, the property we were renting changed hands to Progress Residential. When we switched, we told whoever we talked to on the phone about a couple of issues with the property. He said someone would call us to schedule a time to fix it. No one ever did. Absolute nightmare. Rented from them in March 2017. AC never worked, but we didn't notice until May because we didn't really need it before then. We complained in May about the busted AC and this is mid July now. Over six weeks, three different guys have come and gone, none could diagnose the problem. We had to call again and again because Progress doesn't even have the courtesy to let you know what's going on. Right now we're waiting for a visit from the 4th repair guy. Fingers crossed.

DO NOT RENT FROM THIS COMPANY!!! If you are reading this, please run as far away from them as possible. All they care about is taking your money. We rent a house in north Texas and have had nothing but issues with them since we signed our lease. The will charge you an arm and a leg to fix something as simple as a burnt out light bulb. The took nearly 4 months to fix our garage door, cracked driveway (it ended up popping one of the tires on our car), front and back doors that didn't lock, and give us access to our pool key.
