DO NOT RENT FROM PROGRESS RESIDENTIAL!! I promise you will regret you did. The company I was with at the time I moved into the home switched and the new property owners then became Progress Residential. Once I found out from the old company that Progress Residential was the new owners it seems that’s when all the trouble started. The old rental company provided me with the number they had for Progress Residential which was like call center. So, my house flooded like a month ago. (May 10th). Accident from my 6 year old, it happens I guess. Really not much has been done, people came out put fans in, they saved the carpet and left. Which I learn is apparently standard when a flood happens. So we have an insurance claim and it's pending and taking its sweet time. I totally get that. If I could rate zero I would. From leaving us with out AV for 10 days in the dead of summer and telling us to sue them if we wanted it done quicker. To letting mold growing in the laundry room and closet for over 2 months and doing nothing about it, to know not returning my deposit because my professional carpet cleaner didn't clean up to "their" standards (left receipt showing it was done by a professional) so they charged me to clean again! I rented from this company and it was a horrible experience. During the first 4 months, I had 5 house maintenance calls none of which fix my problem I initially needed serviced. The maintenance man smelled like alcohol everytime except the Hispanic guy. He did a good job. I had my situation escalated and after the 5th month, we finally had the room fixed that was developing mold and my daughter was sleeping in there at first. Based on my experience (moved in on 5/23) I highly doubt that much will be done to remedy my dissatisfaction. Erin has been unresponsive despite her claims to assist beyond completing my walk through. Val has been responsive, however, unhelpful. Everyone I've communicated with has lead the conversation, whether via text, email, or phone, by offering to give me the number of another progress residential employee. I applied for this home that was preoccupied. I put my $500.00 down. Since I was approved for this house, I did not look for another one. No one has contact me until I called 6 times. They set me up to view this home with someone, who no longer worked for the company. Since it was a holiday weekend and they were so worried about that, no one has contacted me about my lease or inspection. I offered to sign a two year lease but they wont do it at the price offered. I applied for a rental property with progress residential and was denied. This is due to a civil judgement in which both myself and my ex husband were named but the judgement was against him, I received a non suit. I emailed the leasing rep that was to help me with the application process, and notified me of the denial, and got no response. My bf did get in touch with her and explained the situation and was told that we had to dispute it with yardi, and there was nothing that could be done. This company advertised a 5-bedroom, 2 bath house for rent at 5385 Prancing Pass, Cumming, GA. We set up a tour of the house based on the number of bedrooms advertised. On inspection of the property, we discovered that the house actually has 4-bedrooms, 2.5 bathrooms. What the company called the fifth bedroom had no closet and therefore could not be listed as a bedroom. The agent claimed no knowledge of the facts. We felt we were victims of a "bait-and-switch" or false advertising scheme.

I wold not give them even 1 star, but I don't have the option of 0 stars! This company is absolutely awful to deal with! They don't care about their consumers, they are all about making money. We have unfortunately dealt with 3 different markets of Progress Residential and we have had 2 very negative experiences and 1 semi- positive experience. It is almost impossible to get in touch with a person who cares and forget about getting anything fixed! I caution anybody who wants to rent from the Nashville market as their houses ... read more
