This company is total garbage. Please save yourself some stress and rent elsewhere. They are not military friendly whatsoever. Our local representatives never answer their phones. Some of the phone numbers we were given for them aren’t even connected numbers. They are not better business bureaus credited for a reason. We moved to Texas from Virginia with the military and were unable to see the house prior to signing our lease and moving in. On arrival, the house was disgusting. Pictures will be attached. Bernardo and his Field Technicians are the best! I had a very rough start with Progress Residential, but these gentleman made it a lot better! Michael and the other guy who I don’t remember his name🥹 were very professional and they were very patient! Bernardo came out on a Sunday and was able to rectify the problem with the hot water heater and outlets. Bernardo answers all calls promptly and never seems frustrated with my service requests. No stars this company is tricky and will quickly deny your application they will play nice to keep the application fee and all the other fees that they charge. I applied progress made a huge mistake with the email address and denied my application and pointing the finger at closing docs they both blame each other very inconsiderate don’t try to help when there is a problem and the property goes back up as soon as you are denied. This company bought out our existing leasing company we had and since then, we' ve had 3 main maintenance requests that were ignored, no one ever called or came by, but online it says the request was closed. We have to pay for everything that goes wrong and never have gotten reimbursed. And when they bought our property out they never asked us to supply the current renters insurance policy we had. They have been charging us 2 fees, totalling $35 per month, saying we don't have renters insurance. I have sent them the declarat... read more

I’ve been without air for 6 days now.. I’ve reached out to customer care every day for 6 days, I’ve called the emergency response line and all I keep hearing is maintenance will put I. A work order.. my family (myself, 2, children and a dog ) have been put in one hotel room in which I pay for and they will take it off of my rent. I still have to pay for food I which they are not coving. My home has been over 100 degrees every day, I have not received a call from progress residential yet.. I have been in my home for almost one yr and I have complained several times about how cold it is downstairs during the winter Months ( this house needed new windows)nothing happened.. NOW my air is out and it has been out for 6 days now. Prior to this the air has not been working good for over a month now.. my home was 83 degrees for weeks and I had my thermostat on 68 which made my electricity bill extremely high. Progress sent their workers out at least 5 times for my air conditioner unit and they didn’t do anything. I F... read more

I wouldn’t even give them a full star. Can’t ever get anyone to answer the phone, call you back or answer an email. Jess Rutledge is the worst. Ive sent 3 email asking when we are get our deposit back and she can’t even reply. It’s the sand with work orders. Maintenance cancelled 3 times. Don’t rent with them! Use someone else!

I have been with progress residential since 2019 and still a resident. My biggest hustle has been getting hold of the right person to take care a problem and still continues to be an issue up to date. My current problem is billing issue which have tried to resolve since November 2021. I have always paid full amount on my account until November 2021, I noticed a ridiculous water bill of $187.64 & $139.39 for the month of August and September respectively, usually my water bill is about $19-25, this bill did not reflect in my ... read more
