Chef and restaurateur Marcus Paslay (Clay Pigeon, Piattello Italian Kitchen, Walloon's) brings a from-scratch sensibility and distinct culinary vision to the Stockyards’ Mule Alley development with Provender Hall. Its name a hat-tip to the area’s cattle-centric history, Provender Hall offers Paslay’s luscious take on American comfort food, with a playful menu spanning grilled trout to chicken gumbo to steak frites. Salads and sides such as crispy okra, braised greens and cheddar-cheese grits are also on offer.

Great drinks and atmosphere! Large selection of bourbon and whiskey. Great place to stop.
Loved our dinner at the Provender Hall! Food was delicious, service was fantastic, and the ambiance was so neat. Highly recommended checking this place out!
Being a fan of the Clay Pigeon for many years, I was excited to visit the other restaurant by chef Marcus. I had the chicken fried steak. Yum yum! Great flavor. Redfish not so great. Fish Sticks that were Breaded and deep fried. I do not think this represents the way Texans or southern people eat their redfish. Okra. Just okay. Too much breading and kind of greasy. Deviled eggs are great.
Best restaurant in the stockyard by far! Try the oysters and Redfish..also the Beverage program rocks
This is a lovely fine dining restaurant in the Stockyards. I dined with some friends, enjoyed a beautiful rose from their collection and a chicken fried steak with gravy that would rival my grandmothers. Those fried green tomatoes are *chef's kiss*. Service impeccable.
Exceptional. From the service to the food, to the cocktails. Everything was amazing. The atmosphere was perfect for the night. Best Paloma I have had, and don't get me started on the Deviled eggs, and fried green tomatoes. Will recommend this to anyone wanting and upscale dinner.
First time dining at Provender last night. Service, ambiance, food and beverage was all top notch. Oysters were some of the better ones I've had in the DFW area. Massive selection of spirits to choose from. We had the cornbread, shrimp and grits, trout, and steak frites. All were fantastic. We will be back!
The building and ambiance is wonderful, and is a great place for a date or romantic occasion. We stoped in for appetizers for our 15 year anniversary. That atmosphere was perfect for that the staff was fantastic. We had fried green tomatoes which were great, the drinks were great the oh my guava is highly recommended but skip the smoked trout dip. It was under-seasoned, not really smoked at all and was more like trout salad then a true dip, just mot as expected. Will defiantly return but for the dip. They did a wonderful jo... read more
Small menu but very tasty! And great atmosphere as well. Went for lunch and had the okra and fried green tomatoes and the burger for lunch and all were good. Right in the middle of the stockyards strip so very convenient as well.
