Returning it; impossible to read the screen! Easy to use??? Maybe if I could actually see what is on the display screen! I cannot play around with the features because I cannot tell what is happening. Is there a secret I don't know?
Extremely complicated and difficult to use Wanted to replace my old label maker. To use that one, I simply cleared the old label, set type size and entered the label wording. This one offers many fonts, needs programming, and can't be used easily. Every time I want a table I have to re-read the instructions and take 15-20 minutes setting it up. I don't need multiple fonts or other options, just want a simple label maker.
Not as advertized! The product description from Amazon says this has USB connectivity. That is the reason I chose this over dozens of other printers. It does not connect in any way to a personal computer. If I return this I'd have to spend a lot more for one that does connect and it is just not worth it. I have lost faith in Amazon's product description.

Trust the reviews and dont purchase I should have listened to the reviews but I thought brother is supposed to be a good brand so I purchased it. Well after only being used maybe a dozen times it stopped working. I didnt even use it enough to finish the sample tape. One day it had a message saying Battery Empty! So I changed the batteries and nothing. I changed the tape and nothing. I called support and he told me that this happens and I need to but a wall adapter. Don't even bother I got this for a little project, used it less than 10 times. I tried to used it last night and the printer was broken, just couldn't turn on.
Don't listen to the haters, this is a GOOD label maker I read the bad reviews. I have had my labelmaker for 4 years and I love it. The reviewer who wrote a novel about how much they hate brother is WRONG in so many ways. This does not drain batteries. It has a physical off-switch. Ive had to replace them only twice in the 4 years ive owned this. It does not draw power when turned off. Everything Pepsis nice but came with no power wire. Have to use 6 aaa batteries
AC outlet does nothing Second time I was going to use this I got a message about the batteries. Apparently they were drained after printing a single label. Also, IT WAS PLUGGED IN! The device completely failed to take power from the AC adapter. I’m returning this POS ASAP.
