14 fonts but only 1 for two lines of text I’m trying to have two lines of text and then it prints in an ugly default font after I’ve confirmed I changed the font setting. VERY irritating.
Waste of tape I’ve had a brother label maker since 2005. When it died I bought this one only to be so extremely disappointed and frustrated at the extra huge margins used for the smallest labels. You’ll end up using 3x the needed tape for every label. Very upset and very opportunistic on Brother’s part.
Doesn’t work once you hit the print button Once you hit print it powers off. If I could give zero stars, I would.
Screen is poorly lit, difficult to see. The screen is so difficult to view makes me not want to use it. Assumed it would be simple due to button selection/options but still found to be frustratingly tedious.

Doesn't Work Have read the instructions and put several sets of batteries in but it just doesn't work. When gently shook, it sounds like something is broken in it.
It wastes tape, runs down batteries when ‘off’ I won’t repeat all the gripes mentioned in the other reviews. To prevent the batteries being drained when ‘off’ I just pull one battery cell and there is actually a space next to the tape cartridge in this model to store it. It rattles this way and reminds me to open the bottom and slip the battery back into its slot before use. As for the wasteful margins, another reviewer said to print several words at once. DOESNT include power cord, unit wont close after batteries and tape installed Are you serious? Power cord is optional? 6 batteries later (read the reviews about battery problems with others, I wish I had) and the unit won't snap closed. Frustrating. Returned.
Poor Printing The first few letters always print very poorly on the one I received. Disappointed!
