not great From the get go this thing wouldn't cut. We thought it may be the specific labels we were using but even after changing it it wouldn't work well. Now, printing is starting to go down hill and we are beyond our return date. Would I buy it again?? Probably
Do not buy this label maker. Brother is intentionally trying to screw you. (Part 2) The top review by Mandy lists nearly every issue with this, except Brother is trying to screw you one more way - The settings reset. So I can press the Label button, adjust the Tab Length and the Margins so it won't print excess white space. It resets literally after 4 prints, then resets every print after that, so you end up with lots of margin you didn't want. For the longest time I thought this was user error. It's not. Not guaranteed The lcd light quit working after 8 months. I called customer service and they told me to purchase another Ptouch with a working LCD. No satisfaction from customer service at all. Went round and round with their agent but they were unable to come up with a solution except "but another one". Really pissed me off!
DO NOT BUY!!! I bought this for my mom and it doesn’t work you will try to turn it on and it will not unless you try at least 6-8 times once it turns on it only stays on for about half a min. Before turning off again. It is poorly made and does not function don’t waste your money.

Don't buy this The labels are cheap, and that's pretty much the only advantage. It has these disadvantages though: * it wastes so much to offset the savings from cheaper labels * it leaves so much white space on the two ends that often I have to use scissors to cut them off manually * the print quality is worse
Product is difficult to use. I gave it away. Not intuitive nor useful.
