Can not easily read LCD display I returned the first label maker I purchased because I could not read the display without adjusting the contrast to the brightest setting, and tilting the unit under a desk lamp. I tried all the available contrast settings from -2 to +2. When the replacement unit arrived It had the same problem. After being on hold for over an hour and no live chat available, I again boxed up the unit and the separate AC adapter for return to Amazon.
No AC cord I'm really disappointed that this product did not come with an AC Adapter Cord.
Worked great when it worked I bought this label maker in April 2021 and used it about 10 times this summer. When I went to use it again last week it had stopped working. I open up the battery case and found the batteries had leaked everywhere and the machine was destroyed. I had it for less than 10 months and the batteries leaked. This is ridiculous.
No household or 'Handy' person should be without one....
Already dead I bought this in September and usually buy a warranty, but didn’t. Bad idea. I used this two times and now it is dead. Tried new batteries, no adapter came with it. Weird. And rude. I enjoyed making labels with it, and about had it figured out, but now it is dead. Guess I will go bury it.
No power cord included This product does not come with a cord to plug it in. Instructions are incomplete.
Unbelievably wasteful product This product seems to be specifically designed to waste an incredible amount of tape and batteries. The default margin settings produce far more blank tape than tape with words. DO NOT print one word at a time. Plan for at least 4 words ahead so you can just add a space between the words and print all of them at once. Take out the batteries between uses. Wastes of type and money The refill type is expensive and the machine wastes a lot of it no matter what setting you choose.
Not great print quality Was looking for an affordable label maker, just for simple things like labeling school supplies, water bottles, etc. The price was great and the size is compact and portable. The quality of the printing in not great, at times not even legible. The ink prints lightly and at times even smeared.
