confusing to use yes it does waste a lot of extra roll. Also not user friendly at all. Had to go online to figure out how to stop it from wasting so much roll. I suggest you just go for another printer all together.

Stopped working twice since purchased 3 months ago Have owned this model for 3 months and it has stopped working twice! Dealing with Brother customer support again. Would not recommend buying this model.
No charging cord My package arrived but with no charging cord where the item clearly is intended for one. Using batteries for this doesn't work as I go through them too quickly and a lot are required. Not happy. Not sure how to get a hold of seller. I am sure I would give it a better rating had I the cord.

Requires a NEGATIVE polarity power supply... otherwise seems like a fine label maker I have only just opened this thing up. First thoughts: looks solid, comes with tape, won’t turn on... hmm, why won’t this thing turn on?? I had a 9V 1A power adapter plugged into the device, which should be more than enough power to supply the label maker. So, I scrounged up 6 AAA batteries from several remotes throughout my house to test if batteries worked. It turns on!! Bad label maker! Broke in 6 months time. Don’t recommend
Product defective out of the box Label maker was defective out of the box. Unfortunately I didn't open the box until the return window had already closed so I'm unable to return the item.
Stopped working after one Yr - No warranty support post that I was really happy about purchasing this printer for home use. After only using one cartridge the unit stop turning on. Changed batteries and used power adapter cable and still not turning on. Contacted Brother support for help just to find out nothing could be done since the warranty only covers for one yr. Very disappointing and a waste of time and money. Do not recommend to purchase. BE AWARE .
