Leave lots of dead space on sides of print It wastes a LOT of the print tape with each print, making it wildly inefficient if you want to print a bunch of small things. Plus, you need to cut off tons of blank stuff. I can’t imagine this being necessary, so I assume it’s a tactic to consume more tape so you have to buy more.

quit working I only used this a few time and now will not turn on at all. Of course batteries have been checked and changed wich is the only help they offer. Piece of junk. Will invest in a marker from now on. Cheaper and will last longer

Too much waste for such a great machine My only disappointment is the excess waste on each end of the printed label. I, personally, see almost as much going into the trash as in the label.

Poor value for the price This works just fine. The value is what I dislike about it. All you get is the machine and a small sample of the printing film. I found the same machine at a competitor with 2 refills included at a cheaper price.

Wastes label tape and batteries I like the ease of use and variety of font styles and characters. However, every time I took it out of the drawer to use it, which was about once a month, I had to replace the batteries. Also was not happy with the amount of tape before and after my printed words - always had to trim tape from beginning and end, and found no way around wasting tape.

Outdated, huge battery hog, defective This thing needs SIX batteries to work. Worse, after a year it made all SIX brand new batteries leak into the unit, I had to throw it away after barely a half dozen uses. The keys are old school and hard to figure out, and the fonts are ugly. And it needs a whole inch of tape of empty space before every label. Just unimpressive and feels like a 1990s product.

No light, no adapter, SIX batteries I wanted for sometime now a label maker. I have all sorts of cables around the house and can't seem to remember which item goes with what cables and it is just a disorganization, total chaos. So I was viewing all sorts of label makers but this one had good ratings, didn't read the bad reviews and for the information provided it was okay. I just tried it and I was so disappointing, it takes six batteries just to power up. In normal times an instrument like this comes with the electricity ca... read more

Something very wrong with this model I don't get it! I used a Brother P-80 for years with great satisfaction. This P-210 takes SIX AAA batteries, and almost every time I turn it on the batteries are shot! What gives with that? I can't afford to replace six at one. Nice label maker, otherwise. Sucky interface, but good labels. I'm giving it one more chance. I ordered the AC power supply ON POINT, MIND YOU. If anything is wrong, Amazon and Brother can have it back.

Nothing included.... My other label maker needed anew battery. It cost $23. I decided to buy this brother product for $19.95. It came with a small sample label and no cord. They recommend that the consumer buys the cord separately. This is madness.
