Poor Quality Labels Labels are thin paper, tear easily. Print is poor quality ink that smears easily.
Wasn't clear that it was battery powered. Shows low battery with new battery usage. Thought I was getting a unit with a charger capability.
!!! DO NOT PURCHASE. FIND ANOTHER. I've received two of these, and tried every battery known to man. Similar to other reviews, this thing eats batteries within 1-2 prints. The replacement I got was even worse, it shuts off when you hit print unless you hold the button, and then.. batteries are dead. Brother must have made a huge batch of defective ones and they haven't purged stock yet.
Absolute worst customer server I have ever seen. We received a faulty label marker. Due to the way claims work we had to call brother to get this replaced. We bought new batteries (on our own on two different times) to make sure we were not crazy. The label maker still did not work. So on to the phone call. We called Brother and they told us to take the batteries out and replaced them. And to hit the "Power" button for 30 mins. Too small . Too sm!lol keyboard and labels.
Junk! Impossible to use. Stops printing mid word, doesn’t advance tape but every once in a while, hard to use separator to get backing off. Can hardly see screen. Now I’m stuck, threw box away so won’t do that again. And I bought a lot of extra tape. Don’t buy … bad product.
Screen stopped working after 2 months of minor use. Everything worked great until the screen stopped working after 2 months of minor use.
Junk I bought two of these because I had two of similar model for years of successful service. NOT SO with this one. It constantly says "low battery" even with new batteries. One did so this weekend, changed batteries (which were new a month ago) and next day when I tried to print, it just went off and will not turn on. Changed batteries again, nada. I'm going to try P-Touch instead, hopefully it's better quality.
Battery Dies Fast!!!! The battery dies extremely fast and then it shuts down. A 24 pack of batteries last 2/3 weeks.
