Dr. Katherine Wexler is amazing. She knows so many important things about how to treat a dog with diabetes that it changed my dog from really sick to super healthy. Dr. Wexler is also very patience and answered all of my questions. When she took my dog for necessary blood tests she picked him up with such love and care I notice those little things. Dr. Liff was amazing she did a full checkup and bloodwork on my baby and all was good. I would highly recommend her.

One of our cats has had tooth trouble since kittenhood. Over the years he had some smaller teeth removed along with one canine. At a recent annual checkup Dr. Cheung noticed that Eddie needed a cleaning and perhaps further tooth removal. It turned out that unfortunately the remaining three canines had to go. Dr. Cheung explained the procedure and costs and did a great job with Eddie. He didn't have any trouble with the sutures or pain meds, and recovered well. My cat had a possible exposure to rodent poison and the ASPCA were unable to help me. The entire staff was so welcoming and kind. They even worked with my financial needs to make sure my sweet girl was treated in time. I'm so, so grateful for their help! ps: look for hidden rodent packets under your fridge that the landlord may have snuck under!! i missed it and it could have been fatal
This morning was rough for my dog and I, I'm in a brace so I can't walk much. Pure paws was having a bunch going on but still put up with me being admittedly difficult and made sure my dog was okay. Dr. Liff is a dream and I cannot recommend this office enough. Truly the best vet in town.
I have had mostly good experiences however there was one nail technician guy that cut , not just one nail and it's vein but all 4 nails! I was very upset but tried to stay calm. My dog came out bleeding of course . He already has ptsd so this experience made it worse. His reaction was "well at least they're short". Ok maybe he made a mistake , but not with 4 nails .he obviously wasn't patient and if he couldn't do the job correctly then he should not have continued. We unfortunately had a really bad experience with the vet we'd been going to for a number of years. So I was very skittish and nervous about finding a new vet after what can only be described as horrifying and scary. But, after much research, talking to friends and reading reviews, we finally settled on Pure Paws, a place I'd walk by many times but never really considered an option. Not sure why. My husband, myself, and our three cats just moved across the country and we were on the hunt for a new vet. I was thrilled so find that this one was just down the street from us. One of our kitties (Stella) with a history of kidney issues was showing signs a UTI. When I called to make an appointment, they were able to get her scheduled for the next day! Dr liff and her team is amazing. we have two senior cats that we had for about 16 years. one of them has stage 4 kidney ailment. what we love about dr Liff is her compassion and method of explaining things to us. she is a sweetheart and makes us feel that she cares about our babies as much as we do. she does the most she can to help them: and we're grateful for that
