First of all the service here are fantastic. I would like to give a special shout out to[names removed] for their caring attitude and fantastic service. [name removed]and [name removed] our activity team is extremely caring, helpful, and kind. They are always doing activities with us residents and go above and beyond when needed. I have lived here for 3 years and it is an exceptional place to live. The customer service is top notch- if you discuss a concern with management, they are very attentive and ensure they solve it right away. The business office manager, [name removed], is amazing. She goes above and beyond to help not only myself, but other residents. The care staff are extremely helpful and observant which is exactly what you want when looking for a facility like this to place your loved one.

I would say it is ok. They need more activities for the residents though. I would say it was passing ,but I would spend time comparing to other communities. It was on but probably better options out there. We picked this community, because of the location and discussion of activities that never seemed to materialize.

Overall you get a lot for the price here. We have just been disappointed with the amount of turnover in the staff and also with the taste and variety of the food that is served to residents. But I would recommend Pacifica Senior Living Rancho Penasquitos to others looking.

I can promise you that this is a fantastic location! I went because I was seeking for a place for my mum. The facilities are spotless, and the personnel, particularly the Executive Director, is quite pleasant. He was really helpful and knowledgable about the amenities. We felt completely at ease and trusted the director with our mother's requirements. It was quite clean, with polite employees and a tranquil atmosphere. It's very difficult to get ahold of anyone there via phone. And there's no way (that we know of) to reach staff via email to see if anything is needed like Depends, wipes etc. we never know. And even when we visit there's a 50/50 we'll see anyone in charge in memory care section to ask questions. Nothing really specific they could improve on with the food, I think my loved one is just a picky eater.

One thing I wish is that there were a few more activities for the Memory Care residents. We picked this community because, of cost, location, ease of parking, and expected activities.

Overall, this is a very good facility. Mom is in memory care. Memory care doesn't have a nurse there regularly, it seems to be just med techs. Upon returning from hospital stays, it would have been helpful for a nurse to be available for her to assist with wound care and things the med techs can't do. I knew this information already, but didn't realize it would matter so much until mom returned from the hospital and needed that extra care.
