My sister started in the assisted living facility. When she got the diagnosis of Alzheimer's, we moved her to the Memory Care Unit. She is doing fine, the staff keeps me updated about her condition. Every staff member I have interacted with has been very supportive, positive and helpful. I have a great relationship with the Executive Director who always responds to my questions in a timely manner. Our family is very happy with Pacifica Rancho Penasquitos.

I like most that they are friendly and inviting and I feel mom is genuinely cared for. They could definitely improve on food being more nutritious, physical activities and getting the residents outside, communication to family members about the residents.

The facility was nicely decorated when we first brought our mother there. However, there was a new décor implemented, which was more sterile, modern and cold in my opinion. That was the only negative thing about the facility that I had. The staff was outstanding in their commitment and compassion for the residents.

My dad resided at Pacifica and was here for just 2 months. The staff, facility and amenities are very nice. We decided to move him to Texas because it’s $[removed]k cheaper but besides that we would’ve stayed longer.

Friendly staff, clean housing. The only thing Mom complained about was the quality and taste of the food.

I liked that when I wrote down questions to ask, they were happy to address all of them. They seem to keep up with the cleaning throughout the day.

I would recommend to others, gladly. Place for Mom helped me so much in our family's difficult journey. My Place for Mom advisor has been helping a good friend of mine with her mother's issues. Thank you for your help and support.

Pacifica, Rancho Penasquitos. They are very caring, friendly, kind people who take their jobs seriously. The facility is clean, affordable, and they offer activities throughout the day to appeal to to a wide range of interests. They typically offer three outings a week, so that residence can do some light shopping, go out to lunch, or take a scenic drive. My Uncle moved into Pacifica Senior Living Rancho Penasquitos straight from the hospital. There, we found a group of professionals who work seamlessly as a team. I get reports of him doing activities so I can keep up to date on his wellbeing. They contact me right away if he needs something I can bring him.
