I can promise you that this is a fantastic location! I went because I was seeking for a place for my mum. The facilities are spotless, and the personnel, particularly the Executive Director, is quite pleasant. He was really helpful and knowledgable about the amenities. It's very difficult to get ahold of anyone there via phone. And there's no way (that we know of) to reach staff via email to see if anything is needed like Depends, wipes etc. we never know. And even when we visit there's a 50/50 we'll see anyone in charge in memory care section to ask questions. Nothing really specific they could improve on with the food, I think my loved one is just a picky eater.

One thing I wish is that there were a few more activities for the Memory Care residents. We picked this community because, of cost, location, ease of parking, and expected activities.

Overall, this is a very good facility. Mom is in memory care. Memory care doesn't have a nurse there regularly, it seems to be just med techs. Upon returning from hospital stays, it would have been helpful for a nurse to be available for her to assist with wound care and things the med techs can't do. I knew this information already, but didn't realize it would matter so much until mom returned from the hospital and needed that extra care. I think they're getting there; meaning, when we first began enrolling the community was known as Atria and when we finished signing up it was then Pacifica. I initially asked about activities and was informed that their activities director left and they were trying to get someone else. They don't seem to be doing anything for memory care residents right now. They've been kind of grouping them together to watch TV in common areas. We found the staff to be really friendly, the whole move in process was all nice and easy. The business staff and their website for us trying to pay bills is not very good at all. Other than that the facility itself is really nice and our loved one enjoys it here. They are in the middle of changing ownership, so there is a transition period going on at the moment.

I toured this community and liked it. We chose another community because there was no secured path or garden for my loved one to take a walk. we noticed that the residents were walking around in the parking lot and that wouldn't work for us, as my mom has a walker.

I would recommend the Memory Care area to others for their loved ones. The staff is very good and address the residents by their first name. They are attentive to the resident's needs as well. There are exercise classes, memory games, crafts, and more for the residents to stay engaged with.
