When we got a bid from them for a previous remodel, the price was horrific. We ended up getting regular Andersen windows installed by an Andersen dealer for literally less than half the price. Just watched their new TV ad, it says Buy One Window at full price , get second for 40% off. With purchase of four windows! Wait.. Isn't that buy four, get one for 40% off? False Advertising..... Received a letter from "Mark" at Andersen and it stated that they had installed MANY windows in our HOA. THEY HAVE NOT.. Thy are NOT approved, I called and there is NO Mark and they gave me the run around on who I should talk to about the miss leading Sales letter. Was transferred to two different people and then told someone would call me back.. No call back. Bottom line is if they lie about the work they have done, they will lie about work they want to do.. For at least 6 months now this company has been on an all out marketing blitzkreig both through my physical mailbox and spammy emails. No matter how many email senders I block and unsubscribe from they just keep coming. In my physical mailbox they use different kinds of psychological tactics (letters that appear handwritten but are not, envelopes that don't look like they're coming from a business etc). Renewal by Anderson cancelled my appointment because I would not give them 1.5 hour to conduct my onsite appointment. When I scheduled the appointment they told me the appointment would take 60-90 minutes. I felt l I was honoring their time table. When they called to confirm my appointment, I said " I allotted one hour for this meeting, I have a hard stop at one hour". Waited 3 months for the windows and doors to be replaced. Then after installation they didn't finish the painting or repair replacement of the screwups, waited another month before they finally scheduled the painting, still waiting for repairs and replacement of screwups, they said won't be till another month if they get the parts still waiting for the painting to be finished. Almost four months later. Won't recommend them to any one. One star is way too much credit. For the high cost they charge, not worth it. Quality is n... read more

The quality of the windows is not the issue, the service and communication was in no way premium quality. First, the installers rushed to get the windows installed. Great for them, they did a 5 day job in 3, but that left us with scaffolding and dirt for the extra days. Not to mention that they rushed so much to get done, that on the last day, they left at 7PM, not having moved any furniture back to where it belonged, and they didn't clean anything. Unfortunately I can't even give one star! They have shown how a business in desperation will handle themselves. After countless unanswered calls of why windows were forgotten on a 30k order and absolutely no contact still from anyone there, they finished my project today which started in August. They tried to cover damage to inside of my house with caulking and I am very disappointed when you pay for the best. I have never reviewed a company, even the good ones and shame on me. Had a fail on their window latch. Called in for service and they came the next day--great! The repair man is friendly courteous--good. BUT he does not have the right part, even after I have sent them all photos and specs of exactly what is needed. Now he wants to come back the next working day with the right part--OK, no problem. 3 days go by, no one returned, no one call a reschedule, nothing.
