Customer service has dwindled as well as the functionality. Pros: I like that this software is easy to use, and if you have a question you can usually Google it to figure out a solution. Cons: Customer service, when they answer without being on hold for 15 minutes, isn't the best. They are very nice, but it's very clear they are reading off of a script. If you ask for Tier 2 support, they can usually assist better.
Worst experience ever! Pros: The software functions for the most part. Mostly plug and play, and I could usually get someone on the phone which was quite often. Cons: The company uses shady business practices and has hidden auto renew clauses that they keep to themselves. After 4 years as a customer we are closing the business and wanted to down size or completely terminate the service. Good quality, but expensive Pros: If you are looking to get a VOIP system and you need to look around at all of the different options, most of the systems out there have the same features but some can cost you a lot more than others. They do have a great outgoing fax (email to fax) system, you set up your email address in their system to allow outgoing faxes and simply email your attachment to (faxnumber)@rcfax.com you'll get an email confirmation of the attempt and success or failure. A nightmare for outbound salespeople, calls would drop, quality was inconsistent at best Pros: There was a decent platform for texting customers, the contacts were somewhat usable. Simple and easy to use Cons: Caller ID showed up to call recipient frequently not under what was selected, calls would drop in the middle of pitches
Expensive service with poor support Pros: Good variety of feature, if you can get them to work. Cons: High price. Philippine phone support that could care less how their poor phone service affects your business. Been paying for 3 months and still haven't been able to make or receive a call without some sort of connection issue. Trick you into evergreen contract with faulty service. Pros: - Ring Central App - Text Messaging Availability - Easy Setup Cons: - Service doesn't work - Customer Service (Can't even get responses half the time) - Evergreen contract they will not let you end without years notice.
Software worked poorly. Customer service was even worse! Pros: If it worked properly, it would have some nice features to organize our small startup business. Cannot recommend due to incredibly poor service, clunky feature set. Pros: RingCentral allows you to make calls consistently. In the 2+ years of use, I cannot recall a time where we experienced any downtime. RingCentral also allows you to easily and quickly purchase vanity phone numbers. Cons: Customer support is incredibly poor and challenging to obtain.
