Not worth the hassle Pros: The best part of using the RingCentral Office software is convenience. It's easy to set up a contact list for your team, use the calendar to schedule conference calls, and log the voice mails for your business records. Great if you have a great network connection Pros: It's very easy to use and the customer service people respond quickly. Cons: Hard to understand customer service. If the internet is not really good the calls can go in and out.
Way too complicated for small business. Designed for big offices with designated Ringcentral IT. Pros: The cost of VOIP is lower than regular phone. But then that's true for all VOIP systems. Cons: WAY too complicated. I was never able to get it to do what I wanted, even with tech support. Overall: I cancelled them.
RingCentral Pros: I like that we have an online system. It is much easier to utilize , make changes, and keep things up to date on line . Cons: This software is not very user friendly. It took me forever to figure out where to replace the greeting for the Front Desk when we are closed or when there is a holiday. Worst Support Ever Pros: I like the recording feature and how easy it is to hear recorded conversations Cons: The support is terrible. They don't have a clue about the software's ability and fail miserably when trying to troubleshoot. Simple issues take days to resolve. My dedicated "account rep" is just as bad. Overall: I've been with Ring Central for several years but have decided to switch to a different provider with US based support.
They always suggest it is your problem and not yours Pros: I liked the ease of doing video meetings. However everything else about it was poor at best. Cons: Customer service support was horrible. There is poor follow-up on issues and everything takes at least an hour to go through and the issue will still not be resolved. They don't care about your time and availability and would also call to follow up at 6pm or later even on a Friday evening. It costs too much per line to get such poor service and performance. Worst VOIP system I have ever used Pros: The pros are you can get text LOL thats really all i can think of as a "pro" Cons: This has been the most unreliable voip system i have ever used. So many cut off calls, the phone will ring and ring and you can not answer the phone on a computer or the app. Overall: I did not have a positive experience with this, mostly pissed off customers with dropped calls
Tried it but did not like it Pros: You can port your existing number or create a vanity number or you can have a new number issued to you. You can customize greetings and voicemail greeting Cons: Was too expensive and I would miss lots of calls because of this software. Customer service will make excuses. Overall: I did not have a real benefit from using this phone system and I would recommend using others. It was not for me.
What a headache! I like the idea but such a waste of valuable time spent on this. Pros: I like that it is an online phone and plugs right into my computer. I also like that I have my own phone number. Another plus is I can get messages from anywhere. Cons: Ok for the bad...customer service is horrible.
