Unreliable when needed the most Pros: That it was an app that enabled the staff to have their work call accessible to them. Cons: The app was almost always not functioning as intended. Calls were being dropped, not even connected or would go straight to voicemail. Overall: We ended up having to get rid of it and transition the staff to traditional business cell phones for better reliability.
Hope it works, or you won't be helped Pros: It works most of the time, which is great and expected. Cons: The phone would not ring all day, so I would check and come to find out that my phone number was deleted by Ring Central without my knowledge nor consent. They allowed fraudulent activity on my account and didn't even apologize. Account representatives simply do not respond to correspondence and their contracts team attempts to make changes to your plan without your knowledge nor consent. They will also sign you up for a... read more
Good product, not as good service Pros: - Easy to use - Integrated messaging - You can attach docs and images to text messages Cons: - Their customer support team is not up to the task - Too many apps for different things instead of one central place - Puerto Rico numbers were considered "International Calls" Overall: I helped implement RingCentral in my current position, it was not worth the money. We had way too many issues since the beginning with the installation and their customer support team was not responsive AT ALL.... read more
Overpriced VoIP Company With Good Support Pros: The support was easy to understand, helpful and available. Seemed to utilize proprietary codecs, so voice quality was VERY good. Cons: APPs - There were too many and they crashed. Outlook plugin also crashed Outlook for several of the test users. Feedback from RC regarding issues made me feel like we were beta testers.
Spotty service will not allow termination of contract under any circumstances Pros: When it works I can make phone calls. Voice mail is decent Cons: We have used them for a year. We have regular intermittent outages with our phones for brief periods. Not the end of the world I suppose but certainly far worse service than you get from traditional services. They recently ran fiber to our business so obviously we are changing over. Phone lines are included in our fiber plan so we no longer need ringcentral. They will not allow ... read more
I really hate Ring Central... Pros: Ring Central offers a feature set that is hard to find elsewhere for a similar price Cons: The service is unreliable. We have technical issues almost daily. Overall: Ring Central offers features like automatic call recording that are seemingly impossible to find elsewhere at a comparable price. This is literally the ONLY thing keeping us with this software. We have technical issues such as calls not forwarding to extensions properly, call detail reports missing crucial data such as which e... read more
I have to use it with a consultant. Pros: Shared screen meetings with a consultant are what we use RingCentral Office for. I do not care for it compared to other options online (Slack or Hangouts for instance). It accomplishes what it set out to do, but my preferences and loyalty lies elsewhere. Cons: Most all of it. It's aesthetically unappealing. Seems like an outdated software compared to the other options out there.
Low quality and poor customer service Pros: Has lots of useful features - being able to choose from tons of phone numbers, set your caller ID, voicemail, user permissions, dynamic local area codes depending on where you're calling, and more. Cons: Call quality was pretty poor and was constantly dropping for how much we paid for the service. Customer service was pretty poor when I'd call about it, which happened far too frequently given the poor service quality.
Reliable, but the price and contracts ruin it. Pros: It's reliable voip service with a decent amount of features. Cons: Their contracts are a joke. The taxes and fees are too. I overpay. I told them with 6 months left on my contract I didn't want to renew and wanted it to go month to month. about 8 months later I call to cancel (cant do anything online, every support option about billing they make you call your monthly rotating account manager) and was told my contract renewed. Cost to break contract? 100% of remaining contr... read more
