Nurse Sally has been so calm and consistent the whole time Ive been here, at the nurses station she stays calm and collected. Smiling at all times and never gives a hint that she is stressed out, which I know she has to be sometimes! She is always attentive to everyones needs and deserves a gold star for the way she handles herself so professionally at all times. Great staff, great nurses, great medical team.

Some of the counselors here have taught me some major life lessons in class like Shannon, he's my therapist and he is the nicest most well dressed staff member! He relates to both the men's and women's groups and even did a class on toxic masculinity which helped open my eyes to a lot of the ways it has effected me and my relationships. He keeps it interesting and is always insightful and knowledgable. I definitely recommend and anyone is lucky to have Shannon as their therapist!

I have learned a lot so far from attending the classes. I started as soon as I could, even though I was still detoxing because I really want this. I know I have to do something different or I will continue in the same cycle of insanity that has been driving me crazy for the last 5 years. I love the counselor and teacher Demetrius. I like that the house keeping crew is so cool about making my bed every day. They offer a cleaning service here for your rooms and do laundry as well. I think the facility has great amenities because they have a huge gym and a nature walk with a large cafeteria and a candy store. Thomas the house keeper always goes above and beyond and definitely deserves a raise! He is always smiling and goes above and beyond. Great place so far.

When I came in through admissions, Nurse Dre did my intake process which was long and heavy because I was so out of it and struggling to come into treatment and stay. I had been through so many treatments before and never stayed. But there was something about what a good listener Dre was, he was so caring and funny that he talked me through the process and made me feel comfortable to realize I needed to stay. Ill never forget the kindness that Maurice the lab tech showed me during my first week here when I was detoxing and had to go through the blood draws and withdrawals. He was so kind understanding and patient and showed me so much compassion. He sat and talked with me and encouraged me in my sobriety. My therapist Karah has been such a blessing to me ever since I first stepped foot at River Oaks. I dont know what I would do without her because she is so dynamic and she is always thorough in our therapy sessions. She keeps everything solution based and always guides me back to my recovery whenever I get caught up in old behaviors or bad thoughts. I love her groups and that she is so relatable and funny. Miss Glenda on the support staff is so uplifting. She always has a positive attitude no matter what is going on that day. Sometimes they have a hard job to do dealing with everybody and their wants and demands, but she always keeps her cool and never loses it. She treats everyone with the same amount of respect and that shows real professionalism on her part. the entire staff has been the same and Ive had a great experience thus far.

I dont know how yall would do it without Angie in the kitchen because she jus tknows exactly what to do to provide the best customer service she possibly can to every single person who comes through her food line. She is understanding and takes her time to talk and ask how youre doing, she makes sure your portion sizes are just right, and if theres not something you can eat, she will go back and make it for you. She always trys to give options and goes out of her way to help. We appreciate you Angie!
