Big Frank is always willing to stop and talk with me when ever I'm going through something. He checks up on me and lets me know not only that he cares but that he is there with good advice when I need it. His compassion has gone a long way with making me feel welcome and comfortable in treatment. Its my first time in a place like this and I have had a great experience so far despite what I expected coming into treatment.

I have found that the CEO Jeff truly cares about his clients. He will make time to sit down with you if you have a concern. He makes sure things get addressed. If there is a special circumstance, he will do what he can to accommodate. He really cares about my experience here in treatment. Especially during the holidays. I have felt comfortable and cared for throughout my stay and that is largely due to the way Jeff runs his facility and makes sure that every person who comes to River Oaks gets the help they need.

My doctor has been amazing. he helped me work through some of the stigmas associated with the medication I am taking. I have been struggling with chronic pain for so many years and I came to treatment seeking a better way to manage my pain. Dr. Fahs helped me to find the medication that was right for me. I think the reception desk does not get enough recognition for all the hard work they do day in and day out handling clients needs and complaints. Tonisha at the front desk does exactly what you need and does not hesitate to help. She goes out of her way to make sure everything is taken care of with a minimal amount of waiting. She handles all the mail and has to sort through all of our packages every day to make sure we get what we need for mail call. Not all heroes wear capes!

I have gotten so much our of the groups since first coming to River Oaks. This is my first time in treatment and I had no idea what to expect. What I found was that the instructors are incredibly inspirational. Demetrius has amazing energy when he teaches his classes. I have gotten so many insights that helped to change my perspective. The medical staff always looks out for clients. Dr. Amisha has been instrumental to me having a good experience here because she listened to me every step of the way. She made sure all my medication was on point and that I was informed about all the possible side effects. Any need or concern I had, she made herself available to me and got it taken care of in a timely manner. This was great customer service.

The case management services have been above and beyond. My case Manager Veronica took care of everything and made sure I had all my outside stuff taken care of after I leave like my doc appointments and my after care. She even made sure I had my sober living set up after having trouble with finding a good program, she looked into several places and made sure I found one that was the right fit for me. I am so appreciative of the extra help she put in to making sure i was set up for success.

The techs here have been amazing. I think that Jennifer and Adrian both deserve recognition for how cool they are and how hard they work. They both are very easy to talk to and they actually listen when Im having a problem instead of brushing it off. I appreciate how much they respect me and all the other clients here by taking their time to not only stop and listen, but give consideration and respect to what I am sharing with them.

Im leaving soon, I've been here almost 4 months and throughout my time at River Oaks, my therapist Lauren helped me the most. She pushed me to talk about things that I didnt want to talk about but that I needed to talk about. She really pushed me to think about things that I needed to do to be successful in my transition out of treatment. She didnt just counsel me, she set me up for success.
