Dr. Amisha is so sweet and personable. When she meets with me she really listens and made me feel comfortable talking to her and opening up about my problems while I was going through detox. She helped me get my meds straightened out and walked me through the process of how everything works with my medication. I felt very supported and Im glad I had her as my provider throughout my stay.

My doctor has gone above and beyond for me ever since I arrives. Dr. Fahs listens and practices so much empathy when discussing my health issues. He is sensitive to my needs and is always approachable. Even if Im not on his schedule he will be sure to make time for me. Im so grateful to have gotten amazing care from the doctors and nurses here, especially Dr. Fahs. I was concerned because I have pretty serious medical situations going on but they took great care of me and addressed all my concerns.

I love the classes facilitated by Rob. He is so relatable because he is one of us. He shares his own story and gives us lots of relevant topics that we can relate to and use in real life when we go home. He is super genuine and keeps it real which helps a lot of people every class. Im loving the groups and Im gonna keep coming back!

The family therapist program has been amazing for me in my recovery. Therapist Ray created a family visit day during the holidays which helped me so much to connect with my loved ones while I'm here. He makes space for everyone and sees through the BS. He keeps his groups engaging and I always learn something, I have a lot of respect for him because he is really cares and knows what he is talking about.

I want to give a shout out to Jennifer the Ta, she is very client friendly and participates with us in our recovery. I love seeing her in the hallways when Im going to group and its so nice to have a support system and somebody who cares in addition to my case manager and my therapist.

the medical team has been a miracle. Dr. Fahs was such a god send because he jumped into action to save someone's life. He is always right on time any time you need him. I am so thankful to have him as my doctor. He is so knowledgeable about this profession and helps so many people each day.

Seriously the best nurse on staff in all of River Oaks is Nurse Glen. he will literally go to any lengths to help clients. He will track down the doctor or make sure to follow up and get you an appointment. He knows everyone's medication and names before we even get to the line. he is so observant and pays attention to every detail which makes him extremely professional when has doing meds or assessments. Ive had a great experience with my counselor Cristina. I have found her to be very kind and understanding toward my problems. She offers very helpful guidance and a place of support for me to process some of my past traumas. I have enjoyed our conversations and found several very helpful insights to address my "stinking thinking" by learning about mindfulness and coping techniques. Adrian the tech is awesome. I can always talk to him and I know he will always go above and beyond to help me out whether its getting something for me from the bin room, sending an email on my behalf, or following up about somethings that didn't get done by another staff member. I think there should be more techs like Adrian because he is just so relatable.
