STAY AWAY FROM THIS COMPANY! I purchased a pair of shoes from this company and it was too small. I ordered the correct size before returning the other pair as I needed the shoes promptly for a trip. I sent the original pair back in and was told my item had been received and Id be issued a refund within two-three business days. A week later I still have yet to receive my refund and so I called and was told my shoes had been worn so they could not issue a refund. And they couldnt have been worn!!! They were too small!!! I havent been to this place or their website in OVER 4 YEARS. I bought a pair of sneakers there in either 2016 or 2017. Nothing. All of a sudden early this morning a charge of ***** shows up on my credit card. Ive found several stories exactly like mine online today. Unbelievable. What kind of b.s. is this, Road Runner Sports? Do you just hope that people wont notice the charge?? I shudder to think of how much money has been made off this practice. Despicable.

I was charged $59.99 by Road Runner Sports on 2 occasions for Membership Fee's. The first time I excused as an honest mistake. However 2 years later , I was charged $59.99 once again for a Membership Fee. So they actually kept my Debit Card on File for 3 Years. The last purchase I made was in Cash without using the phone number attached to the Account. This is extremely Unprofessional!! I will never use this company ever again.Vic B.

Fraudulent business. I was charged $59.99 membership which I never authorized (they say I did in a fine letter in somewhere when I purchased a pair of running shoes). I emailed twice and never got a reply. I called and waited 20 minutes then disconnected. I finally got someone. They never accepted their responsibility.

I had a great experience with ordering, and got a good deal on some great shoes. My problem is with the cancellation of their VIP program. You can opt into the program for a $3.99 3-month trial. I opted in, as it came with benefits, and planned to cancel right away. I learned right away that the only way to cancel is to call them. Ordered a pair of running shoes. Shoes never arrived, so contacted Roadrunner Sports 3 different times, talking to customer service. Three weeks after the shoes were ordered, shoes still have not arrived. Roadrunner has not taken any initiative to contact us, but they sure like to email promotions and advertisements. Never received the shoes and will have to contact our credit card company to cancel payment. No help from customer service. Same experience as everyone else is posting. It is impossible to cancel the $39.99 membership. They do not allow you to cancel online and give you a phone number to call but the wait times are ridiculous. This is a terrible business practice and I find it shady and dishonest. The stores are also run very poorly which is why I want to cancel the membership.

I purchased $8 worth of gels for running from Road Runner Sports. A few weeks later I had a $59.99 charge on my credit card. I thought it was fraudulent and called my credit card to dispute. It was some sort of *** membership recurring charge that I did not authorize while I was in the store buying my gels. I didnt receive any sort of email or any other correspondence about this membership from Road Runner Sports.
