We have had nothing but problem after problem working with Robert. We used him and GSF to finance our home when we first purchased it. There was ZERO communication. We would go weeks without hearing from him. Then we would check in with him and he‚Äôd respond with a list of 10 things we needed to do. We could‚Äôve been working on those forms and everything over those weeks where we didn‚Äôt hear anything from him. It was like we had to keep reminding him to work on our mortgage. I had very good success working with all people other than Robert. We did not get clear answers multiple times. All others were polite and respectful and made us happy overall with the GSF experience.

Seemed like we always had to initiate our calls to Mr. Fabian. We had to send and re-send our paperwork several times. We received very short notice on the closing and then it was changed within hours of the appointed time. Overall, we received a good rate....it just took a long time.

It took way too long ( 6 months????) and we had to fill out forms so many times ( 5???). The one before the last version had a typo and if we signed we would have agreed to a higher closing cost.

I had to ask for all information, was close to missing deadlines because I was not given information, closing costs were off by almost $1000, & I didn‚Äôt know until the day before closing that I could actually close. Did not think it was going to happen. When I had to call for the info that should have been handed to me Robert was nice but this should have been a smoother process. I wish I could give a better review, but this experience added so much stress to my first home buying experience.

The overall process was good . Once we submit the docs requested, the processing was on time and didn't have to worry about it. The only issue is the delay in getting clarifications when we have questions which is expected given that there are many people looking to refinance given the rates.
