Our solar installation was recently completed and we've been really happy with the way the whole process went with Solar Optimum. We went into the process a bit cautiously after starting down the road with another provider (before going thru the Energy Sage process) who we felt rushed us and who was less-than-transparent. After that bad experience (we voided a contract we'd been rushed to sign), Energy Sage helped us connect with Solar Optimum and they squeezed us in, making sure our project would qualify under Nem 2.0. Mason has warmly and professionally communicated with us about setting up our solar. He's answered all of our questions fully and honestly and made the process smooth and easy. I'm very satisfied so far.
I worked with Mason Brown with Solar Optimum over the course of several months as our needs and situations changed. He was patient, attentive, and helpful at every step of the process. I'm happy with his service and that of the Solar Optimum team as we move forward with our installation.
Solar Optimum was very helpful throughout the process. Mason took his time to answer all my questions. After we talked I thought of additional questions so I reached out to him again. He was very helpful throughout the process. I am recommending Solar Optimum and Mason to friends who are now interested in solar.
We had good customer service from our initial meeting and reps were very quick to reply and answer questions and hear any concerns we had. Great communication through the whole process with detailed emails, videos, and phone calls.
tldr: I liked them and their subcontractor, would recommend to others and would choose again. disclosures: None, I wasn't paid for this review. I think their contract statement allows for payment of up to $500 for a referral or a good review however. Just fyi. I'll try to keep this short. I had a great experience working with both energy sage and solar optimum. The staff at solar optimum was very helpful, consultative and kind. I personally worked with Juan and he was excellent.
Overall it was a good experience. With two exceptions the design and install went well and I would recommend them. I showed the energysage quotes and the final price to some others and they were quite impressed with the price and installation work went well except.... The initial plan as described had all the panels on the south side of the roof. Most were facing directly south. 2 were facing west and 3 were facing east. The plans when delivered had 5 panels facing north and none east or west. I might have gotten by with one... read more
