This was my second visit to this restaurant. On both occasions, a signature item that was on the menu was not available to order. In the first case, it was a main course. In the second case it was an appetizer. In both instances, the item that turned out to be not available was why I made a reservation at this restaurant. The menu at first glance sounded absolutely amazing. So amazing in fact that we all (all 7 of us) actually had a difficult time choosing so we all picked something different so we could share. The food was either over salted (almost everything was), over cooked or under seasoned. It was really bad. I will say however, we ordered desert and it was delicious. We went on Valentine's day. We got there 15 minutes early and were told to come back at our reservation time (6:15pm). We went to the bar area and were quite pleased with service and the drinks. We went back at 6:15 and were seated in a booth, after refusing a center table. I had asked for a quiet table when I made the reservation a month earlier. Horrible service. Our birthday celebration group waited so long for their salads that we didn't order a main course. Had to track down our waiter for the check.
Great atmosphere. Food not so great. Overpriced.
Disappointing for the price. Expected something special, it definitely was not and the service was mediocre at the very best. Will likely not return to Roxy again.
After waiting awhile (which we were not in a rush, BUT) both of our dinners were just luke warm, but the waiter said the plate was hot, yeah right. My son sent his back and told them to keep it. I sent mine back for a new one, I wish, I wouldn't of. It seems like they care for just the high rollers. The manager never came to our table. Two years ago, had a great time at this restaurant. Never again.
The wine and appitizers were great. Our waiter forgot to tell us about the specials being offered. I had the paella and was very bland, the chicken was horrible and the seafood had no flavor. Very disappointed with my dish. My wife had the scallops and they came out luke warm. She sent them back only to get a hot plate back but the scallops were still luke warm. Not a very good experience. Not sure if I will go back anytime soon.
The service was poor between courses. There was a 30 min. wait between courses (appetizers and main course). Delay in getting the check without ordering any dessert. Saw the assistant server (bus-boy) more often than our main server. Bread server does not come often enough especially when you have escargot for dipping the garlic butter. Also heard in the background lots of things falling/crashing such as dishes, glass, pans, and food serving racks.
