Seem like they was playing games. I sent 10 documents they asked for but still kept asking for more proofs. I ended up getting tired of that and gave up. waste of my time.

If possible, I would give zero or negative stars. I purchased platinum protection (warranty extension), and a windshield warranty with my vehicle from the dealership. The warranty was sold under the name One Protect. When my windshield cracked right up the center, I went through the call process to make a claim but due to the remote location (I'm about 800 miles from the dealership who would have done the work on-site), One Protect was going to subcontract out to Safe Guard (glass company?) - and the reviews on their replace... read more

Total Scam! My friend bought a car and sold it to me a week after he got it. It was too big for his needs. Followed the instructions to transfer the Safe Guard exactly as indicated on contract and they gave me the complete run around. Sent my check in just as indicated on the contract, it was returned to me with instructions to send to another office so I did that too. It was also returned. Safe guard is the worse company I have ever had to deal with. They are refusing to pay off my totaled vehicle. My car insurance company paid 500 dollars extra to the credit company and safeguard would be saving money, but are refusing to pay the remainder (****). My husband and I have spoke to safe guard multiple times, completed all documents, and they still say more documents are owed to them. Its very frustrating. I highly recommend to use a different GAP insurance! Stay away from safe-guard !!!

Horrible, just a horrible company to deal with! After repeatedly sending in the required forms via email AND the portal everything gets accepted then weeks later, rejected FOR NO REASON repeatedly over & over again. Spoke with multiple supervisors who are inconsiderate and provide misinformation. My insurance agent, financial agent, & the dealership have ALL sent in the required docs as well and they get rejected too. This company is a scam!!! I purchased a car with *** and they offered GAP insurance through Safe-Guard Products International. When my car was totaled *** told me that the information would be filed on by behalf for my GAP. All the information that was retrieved went to ******** who retrieve information & determine what Safe-Guard will accept or not. Horrible company to deal with. Clearly they've been told to do anything they can to deny claims and put up roadblocks in the process. Just awful. I have a vendor who will no longer even do business with them he had such a difficult time getting paid.

If I could give 0 stars I would. Sorriest company ever. They drop the ball on the claims. Keep rejecting the same thing over and over. My car was totaled November 14, 2021 and this sorry company still has not sent any payment. Now the portion that was supposed to get paid is on my credit report as past due. They absolutely do not care about there customer. This company needs to go out of business.
