I have the wheel and tire protection and being denied coverage for a nail in my tire. In the coverage, it notes it will not cover if tread is less than 3/32 and stated on the paperwork from the dealership, its 4/32 and 5/32. I have received HORRIBLE customer service, especially from ******, who is supposed to be a supervisor providing an ongoing commitment to quality and service. Do not buy any quality protection plan products!!! I have two ******** and a bug with the protection plan coverage and the maintenance on all of the vehicles is maintained at proper intervals. However, this company is refusing to cover the cost of repairs because I dont keep receipts when I buy oil. But read the contract, its buried in the 100 pages you sign when you are buying a car! What a joke. They can't refer you to a tire shop and the three shops I've been to so far won't accept the insurance. Now I'm purchasing the tire myself and taking the hit because Safe Guard won't reimburse me.
If you have GAP insurance through them just cancel it and get a refund. They paid $153.00 while I paid $1500. It's not worth the hassle.

This company is a joke! I just recently submitted a claim due to my engine overheating due to a failed temperature sensor and caused a blown engine which dodge even stated that Ive wouldnt known anything if there wasnt a warning. So I was told by Safeguard that they would cover the engine replacement because of overheating.

SCAM SCAM SCAM!! As you read on everyone else's review this GAP INSURANCE is a scam. They do not pay out even after all the documentation they ask for has been submitted. They will blame your Primary insurance and when your primary insurance talks to them they will blame your dealership. This company is the biggest scam and I have been dealing with them since 2/23. Do not purchase this product unless you want to go through a nightmare that the only way to wake up from is getting a lawyer involved.
This company is a straight fraud if you have a accident & you have warranties they cancel all warranties & pay off your car which makes gap not liable for paying anything on your ********************** they a jokester & will deny paperwork when it's actually correct never ever again will I purchase a gap insurance
