I work in physical therapy and did home health in that facility and I liked what I saw! My ratings of 4 were influenced mainly by shortages of staff, which is chronic across the industry. The med techs seem to truly care about the residents. Service in the dining room is often hampered by staff shortages or supply chain issues, but they do the best that they can to accommodate any special requests. Overall, we are pleased with our experiences at Pacifica Senior Living San Martin.

I like the location. The staff is nice but communication could be better. They need to improve on their staffing at night. Better response time when the button is pushed for your care taker. I think there needs to be a common area on the first floor with a TV so that the residents can get together and watch shows, sports. The activity director needs to be around after dinner as well.

First, we want you to know that our staffing is based on our licensing requirements, and we are currently staffed at the correct ratio between residents and staff. You may not have noticed but there is a room in the back of the building with a TV and couches where residents absolutely congregate. We also have a TV in the pub at the front of the building. This is where most of our activities take place.
What we like the most about the Pacifica Senior Living community is the staff members. The staff team there are friendly and responsive. Based on the experience we have had so far, we would recommend this community to other families

What they could improve overall is the cleanliness, laundry, and checking more often. I was very upset that no one called me to be with him at the end no matter what the time I have been thru this before and I know that they have an idea

Mom complains all the time about quality of care, place is under staffed. Cause delays for shower assistance, if not skipped. Cost keeps go up. They find more things to bill her for monthly. She likes to keep track of her expenses, finds it frustrating. We would absolutely recommend Pacifica Senior Living community to other families

Overall it's a really good facility. The staff are really friendly, and they're pretty good about calling you when something happens. I don't' have any problems with it except for the price.

My loved one is no longer at the community. Everybody was always very friendly, and listened. They were not as attentive. They advertised a lot of activities, but my loved one did not engage in any of them. The value for the money was not good. They did not always clean up well. Overall, my experience was not good.

While it is challenging to address your specific issues without knowing the people involved, we can state that there are continual daily activities in our memory care neighborhood where every resident is included unless they or their family specifically refuse to be involved.
