I am writing this review for Nancy Aronson who has been doing my laser hair removal! She is AMAZING, sweet, fast and always makes the process as painless as possible. I drive 1.5 hours away just to come see her and will happily recommend her anytime!
This CSI office deserves negative star, they are not any way near what they have claimed that they set high standards. They sent me claim letter while insurance company was working on paying them, I told the finance girl the situation, she told me to pay the clinic first, she said once insurance company paid the clinic, they will refund to me. I'm a former patient. I recently contacted CSI to get a copy of a report from my chart. It took 6 weeks. All they had to do was copy a single page. I spoke with three different people (2 in medical records, 1 at front desk). They all promised to get back to me. I never heard from any of them again. I left messages at the front desk and medical records. The calls were not returned. Medical records almost never answers the phone. Extremely rude front desk. One employee in particular was impatient with us, seemed irritated by our presence, and was generally unpleasant. Like the other reviewers, I agree that the front desk/administrative team here needs serious attention. Doctors seem OK, but it's not worth the trouble of dealing with the rude and unprofessional office staff.
I don't know the dermatologist's last name but her first name was Lauren and took one look at my rash and prescribed antibiotics. She asked maybe two questions total and didn't if I had tried antibiotics in the past to treat it (which I have) and then implied I should come back for a more aggressive acne treatment which is actually just another rash which I never got to talk to her about before the appointment was over. Shitty doctor... now I know why they say dermatologists are on the bottom of the Dr. totem pole.
I have to agree with a lot of the reviews, if the doctors (and I mean actual Dr's - not their PA or nurse assistants) were so amazing I would go somewhere else. Trying to get ahold of anyone here is an absolute NIGHTMARE. You'll be on hold for sure at least 10 minutes and then you'll get "California Skin Institute do you mind holding" - 5/10 minutes later you'll get someone who seems way too busy to have some empathy and care. The doctors and nurses here are awesome but this review is for the front desk staff. They are rude and impatient and seem annoyed by patients. Thier attitudes are the reason I hate going to this location even though I love my doctor.

Originally, I scheduled an appointment for my daughter here a few years ago. The staff were friendly and helpful, and answered all questions. She'd been back a few times for check up on her acne. And her skin looks great. So the short version - Wonderful caring people who are very knowledgeable and effective. They know their stuff. The office is clean and comfortable. I always pay in full minutes after treatment. But that's not enough for CSI. They want more. In April 2017 my credit card was declined. So I charged the bill on another credit card. It turned out that CSI charged both cards, so I paid double. It took 5-8 calls to finally get a refund in October. Okay, so no more credit cards at CSI. In April 2019, I paid cash in full and got a receipt. Later, they decided they want another $135. I called them about it 4-5 times, and they won't stop.
