Victor was fantastic! He explained exactly what was wrong with our window, and he showed me where the problem was coming from (we have one of those windows that slams shut when you open it). He repaired it quickly, and then he fixed and rehung our screen door. He also gave me some great advice on our back door, and on how to reinforce the screen so our dog doesn't break it again (our dog sees squirrels and she bolts out the back). We spoke with three companies and went with Scientific. Jonathan was my first contact and he was informative and very helpful. On the day of installation, Damien and his crew were very professional. They covered all of the furniture and worked expediently. At the end he demonstrated how to open the windows for cleaning, etc. We love the windows and would highly recommend Scientific. We bought a home that was a foreclosure and needed to replace all of the windows.

Victor was extremely professional, I can't say enough good things about him. The windows were ready a little earlier than expected and the wait time for installation was less than a week. The limiting factor was my schedule, they were available. The windows are like new now. The cost was half of what another company (with only average reviews) estimated for me. Really happy with the experience. We had what we thought were excellent bids from 2 highly-rated Angie's List contractors, but when we researched the window brand they both proposed, we found mixed reviews. We then contacted Scientific Home Services and are glad that we did. Jon came to our house and gave us a pleasant, low-pressure presentation and gave us a quote on Soft-Lite windows, The reviews on this brand were much more favorable than the other one, and the cost was comparable. We contracted with Scientific Home Services to replace 11 windows in the spring of 2015, after Jon came and met with us and drafted a detailed quote. Jon was enjoyable, straightforward, and upfront about the project. Beware of other vendors that try to pressure you to have you sign up right away (hello Andersen Renewal and the three and a half hours "hijacking"). Very well. John came and gave us an estimate after work one evening, and was able to answer all our detailed questions about energy efficiency of different products. The windows came in quicker than expected, and Damian and his colleague completed the installation in just two days. The windows are great, and the insulation they added has made our house noticeably more comfortable. We appreciated the care they took with a lead-safe installation. Replace 20+ original windows in hundred-year-old house.

Each step of the process was professional and smooth. This was our second experience with Scientific. Scheduling and receiving a quote was easy to do. Since their quote was competitive and we feel good about the quality of their windows, we felt comfortable working with them again. Mr. John from scientific came to my home and I felt comfortable he wasnt pushy, he explained to me the process of the work to be done, the brand of windows he carried and there was never any pressure. I called him and emailed him a few times before, during and after the process and he always answered all my questions. The windows came 6 weeks after just like Mr. John said.
