Scott Home was recommended by my realtor, and I'm glad. We were super impressed by our inspector, Dave Spielman. This is the 6th home we have bought, and Dave was very thorough and knowledgeable, and explained everything to us. He was patient with our many questions. The report is a very nice format also and very thorough.Their customer service team has also been very responsive.
My husband and I are new the area, and we have been looking to buy a house. There are so many rules to just go with it. OMG.. I had my home inspection done yesterday by Todd, he was awesome. Quick and efficient, after the inspection he explained everything well and was pleased to have my business. Excellent customer service, showed up slightly early, which I thought was great, very nice guy.
I have purchased 4 homes in the last 20 years in the Loveland area. Scott Home Inspection (Joe) provided an incredibly detailed and thorough inspection on our latest home including a detailed written report, photos and recommendations. Very professional and yet personable and friendly. A+
Normally, I don't waste my time writing about non-edible businesses. But these guys are awesome, and they deserve all the stars you can eat. Even though you can't eat a home inspection. I mean, I tried: I gnawed on that radon test monitor like crazy, but it didn't really do much for me. As a Realtor in Boulder, I have worked with many home inspectors over the years. George is by far the most thorough, professional inspector that I have ever worked with. My clients are always delighted with his knowledge and attention to detail, and he really takes the time to walk through the property and answer questions and offer suggestions. His reports are always extremely detailed and informative. When I work with George, I can rest assured knowing my clients are in wonderful hands.
If you are buying a house use this service. My husband and I have purchased 6 houses in our real estates careers and were absolutely impressed with Mr. Scott's services. He discusses the report with you, adds color pictures to his report, and even has the report available via Internet for a period of time. He mailed us a copy of the thorough report and made some recommendations to us as the buyer. Very helpful and highly recommended.
I requested a sewer inspection, but because I wasn't having the home put on the market, they refuse to perform the service. It's listed as a service on their website. Apparently the $275 they were going to charge for the inspection for the sewer pipe wasn't enough. An inspection is an inspection, isn't it?

I would not recommend Scott Home Inspection for anything. They did not do a thorough job on the inspection. Especially the inspector Mark O'Meara who is not trustworthy and does not own up to what was discussed during the inspection. During my inspection Mark verbally told us that our house had a passive radon mitigation system and that only a fan would be needed to activate the system to reduce the radon levels in the house.
