Overall Scrap Right has very good functionality and is very simple to navigate Pros: The functionality of navigating is very user friendly simple to understand and everything is very accessible and requires some user specific training that can vary depending on technological aptitude Cons: Reconciliation reports are a little complicated to open and close and does not keep up with all daily calculations

Few bugs for a new system, over all faster and keeps you compliant. Pros: Once a customers info is put in, its easy to find and fast getting them in and out. The pictures of the customers and commodities make it easy to see what was bought and who from. Cons: Still a few bugs to work out and you must have fast internet for the system to work properly. A software program that could go from good to great with some simple tweaks Pros: It has made working at the scrap yard much easier. We have simplified many processes and no longer have to use physical tickets when dealing with customers so this can make things much faster - when the system is working properly. Cons: There are small issues that need to be tweaked, the system often has issues that are frustrating and end up costing time. We moved to from another software company. What a difference. No learning curve at all Pros: Ease of use, price and customer support. Very user friendly. Suggestions for changes are take very seriously and upgrades are done swiftly. This company truly cares about both the industry and its customers.

Easy to use and navigate. Great tech support. Pros: How programed it is for the scrap industry. Not much has been left out. The material list is extensive, I am never looking for something that is not there. Cons: The signature pad and finger print scanner have always had issues through out the years. We have replaced them a couple times and still have occasional problems. Overall: Accurate inventory keeping, helpful in keeping track of outstanding balances, no need to keep physical copies of customer tickets.

Overall, it does the job. It does "glitch" once in a while, but refreshing usually fixes it, Pros: We only use Scrapright to generate outbound loads. It's good to get the BOL, Packing List, and photo of the pallet all at once. The photos have saved us on a few pallets. Cons: I would like the software to be able to include the prices of the individual pallets we send out. It seems like we should be able to put our material prices/lb. into the system and have the value calculated by the weight of the material, and be able to p... read more

Easy to use and works great Pros: We really like the ease of use. Anytime there is an issue the customer support quickly resolves the problem. Cons: Needs an offline version for outages. If there was a offline version we would never have any down time.

Scrap Right has evolved into a great tool for the Scrap Industry Pros: There's numerous features to like but the best for me is the full size ticket screen which allows me to enter truckloads of materials in fractions of time Cons: During the growth of this software I had many issues to start but they took my ideas along with many others & have eliminated most all issues to date
