Enjoyable experience but was disappointed by service. Was not informed initially about specials, we had to fish for them. Server seemed more knowledgeable and eager about selling the wine rather than the food. Other servers seemed to being doing things the right way. Food was good with the exception of being underseasoned. More options would be better on the menu as it was very heavy on truffle flavors. I found myself mixing sides from other dishes to avoid the truffle.
We had a great time at ELA's. My husband and I went for a date night to end our week of vacation in Hilton Head and it was the perfect spot. We were able to sit outside at a table that overlooks the water and it was so pretty and peaceful. Great setting with amazing food! The scallops were incredible. My husband ordered the ribeye and really liked it, too! We will definitely be going back again on our next HH visit.
Green fried tomatoes, calamari, ceaser salad, wedge, crab cakes, grouper and shrimp and grits. Amazing ! Too full for desert! Sitting out side very nice. Wine list nice. Amber very good. Our second time from Ohio. Will be back. Don't penny pinch and know you r going to spend 100.00 each including the wine.
We had a wonderful dinner at Ela's that included scallops and a wonderful chocolate torte cake for dessert! The view of Broad Creek Marina will just will finish the evening perfectly!
We went there for our wedding anniversary and noted such in our OpenTable reservation. Upon arrival, the manager rudely pushed us aside as we were waiting to check in coming and going from the wine cellar. The host was very unfriendly and never mentioned anything about our anniversary or welcomed us to the restaurant. Our server was cordial, but not very friendly. first off, dave the bartender was great, food was excellent, we dined outside with a great view of the water.

One of the best meals I've ever had & they were able to make it gluten free for Celiac.
Great atmosphere, excellent food, and wonderful service. I ordered the filet and it was by far the best filet that I have ever eaten! We had an excellent meal and we will definitely return the next time we are on the island.
