We had the calamari appetizer as well as a lobster wrap appetizer that were outstanding. The scallop risotto dish was was very good but a little too rich for my taste. Our only complaint was the speed with which our food arrived. Almost as soon as we had ordered, our appetizers appeared. As soon as our appetizer plates were removed our main courses appeared. We felt very rushed. At these prices the speed was completely uncalled for.
You better have the food to go with it , and this restaurant really does ! The food, the service (Amanda) and the beauty of the view, meld together to create the perfect evening. If you live on or visit Hilton Head Island, do miss the opportunity to experience the most perfect evening!
Went for our 10th wedding anniversary. The butternut ravioli and NY strip were both amazing and we received free champagne for our anniversary. They seated us with a great view and were very friendly. The ambiance is great in the evening. They had live music playing at a tasteful noise level which really added to the evening. I highly recommend it and will definitely return.
Wonderful vacation dinner. The sunset views of the marina are spectacular so go at sunset. Food was very good and the service was great too. The bartender was unpretentious and very helpful on selecting a very good wine (The Crusher Cab). Highly recommend and will definitely be back when we are in HHI again.
The atmosphere of this restaurant is the best thing it has going for it. The food was good but not great. Lots of windows and views to outside were very enjoyable. Staff was also nice and friendly. It seems to be a very popular spot.
Fish of the day was grouper. Yummy fish and chips despite rain.
After some disappointing meals in Hilton Head, we were very pleased to find ELA's. Everyone at the table had a stellar view of the harbor and the service was excellent. The menu had something for everyone and the food was fabulous. The evening was relaxing and delicious!
Beautiful location with a wonderful menu. Not one bad thing on the menu so far. Still the best fried green tomatoes ever!
My wife and I ate here on Labor Day weekend. My tuna was excellent, as was my wife's crab cakes. She had the shrimp bisque which she said was great. Everything was tasty, including the key lime pie and cheesecake. We will definitely return to Ella's on our next trip to Hilton Head.
