The perfect restaurant for a romantic night out. The food was fantastic with outstanding presentation and service. Would definitely recommend to others... Reservations are a must, especially after 6:00, with thanks to OpenTable, that part is very easy to do!

We spent over $200 on our dinner for four (2 adults, 1 teen, 1 child). We had 2 apps; our shrimp cocktail $15 was bolstered with lettuce and raw onion, the shrimp were (5) medium size, the kid's ordered the shrimp skewers...3 shrimp were $11. The bread and hush puppies served with sweet cream butter were good but who wants to fill up on that? My husband had a caesar salad and I had the wedge salad. Most friendly staff. After a long way from Cleveland it made the trip so worth it. We will be back for sure.
We've coming to the island since '87. Ela's is our favorite. It is so special in every way.
The dinner we had at Ela's was not what I had expected given the praise on social media sites. The menu was predictable and less innovative than I expected. The fish was cooked well, but again was nothing to write home about. Overall, I felt that I paid more for the hype than for reality, which made me feel like I was ripped off.
This was a wonderful choice for our date night! Beautiful views, impeccable service, and delicious food and drinks! We strongly recommend a visit to Ela's Blue Water Grille!
Went to ELA's on July 4th before the fireworks. One of the few restaurants that were taking reservations (And after seeing 2- 2 1/2 hour waits at some restaurants during the holiday week, we wanted reservations...). Great location overlooking the marina. Food was excellent. Family enjoyed as our last dinner before we had to leave Hilton Head and go back home....
